The older sibling (in terms of provision, not age), Repton School Abu Dhabi's Fry campus caters to children from Years 2 to 4 (Prep School), through Junior (Years 5-6) and Senior Schools on a purpose-built site at the heart of Reem Island. The original Foundation School, which opened in 2013 remains open, and is located close to the new school which opened in September 2018. The school is currently rated Very Good by ADEK and Outstanding by BSO.
Repton Foundation School Abu Dhabi, located on Reem Island about 10 minutes’ drive from the centre of Abu Dhabi, has - impressively - achieved an Outstanding rating from ADEK in the 2021-22 inspection round. It is a for profit, and selective school, the Foundation and Lower Primary school feeder to the Junior and Secondary school (Fry campus) which opened in 2017. Al Shohub Private School in Abu Dhabi was founded in 1999 with the specific aim of providing an outstanding education to Emirati girls, although boys are accepted in the Foundation and Primary stages.
